This article explores the square root graph. The general function of a square root function is shown below;

The shape of a square graph is similar to a square root graph shown below;
The basic shape of a square root function is literally “half of a parabola” or square (x²) graph on the positive side. Below is the table of the x-axis and y-axis with the graph.
Note in the table and graph the values are similar to the square function except reversed.
To see this effect we can reverse the values for x and y into x as shown below;

Square root graphs can also be transformed. The transformation may come in the form;
