Adjacent angles

Let us look very briefly at Adjacent angles.

In geometry adjacent angles are two angles that share a common side and a common vertex, but do not overlap. An example is show below.

Above Angle BAC is adjacent to angle CAD. This is because both angles have a common side line AC and
they have a common vertex A. Be careful of the definition because certain angles may appear to be adjacent angles but when they are not.
