Area of a circle sector
The following image shows a sector in a circle.
We can work out the area of a sector by relying on the fraction and percentage of the angle of the sector to the 360o degree angle of the circle. We can find the area of a sector of a circle in radians or degrees where π/2 is 90o. We know that the area of a full circle is πr2. That must mean that the area of any sector with known angle is;
