Volume of the Hemisphere

Volume of a Hemisphere Formula

A hemisphere is half of a full sphere and the volume of a hemisphere is equal to two thirds multiplied by pi multiplied by radius to the power 3. This gives suggestion that calculate the volume of a sphere for the given radius and divide the answer by 2 to find the volume of the hemisphere.

Volume of Hemisphere = 2/3πr³

r ⇒ is the radius of the hemisphere

Using the volume of a Hemisphere Formula

Example: Calculate the volume of the hemisphere with a radius of 3cm.

Answer:

    Explanation:

    Volume of Hemisphere: = (2/3)π3³
    = 56.55 cm³

    The answer is 56.55 cm³.

    1. can you please answer this:
a hemispherical container contains water to a depth of 10cm. if the volume of the water inside the container is 5000pi/3cm^3 , find the diameter of the vessel.
please answer this with complete solutions.

This is simple, but you must show that you tried before we can help. So that we can see where you got stuck. The volume of the hemisphere described above has “r” for radius. So you will first need to find the radius by rearranging.

Sorry for the late reply. I must have missed this.
